Volunteer opportunities to support flood relief

Powerful atmospheric rivers have caused catastrophic flooding throughout the Puget Sound region and beyond, taking an insurmountable toll on local farms. From loss of income due to damaged crops and equipment, to unwanted debris that requires cost prohibitive clean up, farmers have a long road ahead. We are actively working on ways to mobilize our volunteer community to support farmers with clean up and recovery efforts. In the meantime, scroll through this page for a list of partner organizations offering ways to help farmers through volunteerism.

Food Bank Farm

The Food Bank Farm is an outreach ministry of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Redmond, WA. The farm’s mission is to end hunger in the Pacific Northwest by growing fresh produce for local area food banks. The Food Bank Farm was severely damaged from recent flooding along the Snoqualmie River. Sign up to volunteer.

Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance

Recent flooding has impacted many farmers, residents, and businesses throughout the Snoqualmie Valley and Western Washington. In response, the SVPA created a centralized hub for flood response and recovery information, including resources for those who have been displaced or affected, opportunities to provide support, and ways to get involved. Sign up to volunteer.

Duvall Community Flood Clean Up

Farms along Snoqualmie River Road were greatly impacted by the floods. Community member Country Roney is organizing a series of work parties in the area. Sign up to volunteer.
