Office space update for 2021 and beyond

Over the last 10 months, COVID-19 has pushed us to adapt to so many new ways of living and working. Though not without its challenges, we at Washington Farmland Trust are incredibly grateful to have been navigating remote work well and striving to seek out work-life balance across the organization as much as possible. We want to say thank you for your patience and generosity as we made this enormous shift over the past year.

With the expiration of our lease at the Vance Building in Downtown Seattle upon us, the Trust has decided to move to remote work through the remainder of 2021 and possibly into 2022. While all staff will be working from home, a smaller office hub will still exist. Thanks to our friends at the Trust for Public Land, we will be able to continue with our administrative needs and gather safely for team meetings when that is possible in their Downtown Seattle office, located at 901 5th Avenue, Suite #1520. We are grateful to our friends and colleagues at The Trust for Public Land and look forward to the community and connection that will come from being able to share space.

Our relationships with one another as a staff and board, as well as with our community of farmers and supporters, are what make our organization hum. We cannot imagine working distantly from one another forever. That said, we feel privileged to be able to spend these next few years staying safe, focusing on organizational resilience, diving into our strategic plan, and evaluating our operational needs so that we can find a new home for Washington Farmland Trust when the time is right. In the meantime, please reach out using any of the channels below, and we so looking forward to meeting with you in person again soon.
