Project Background:

Gary and Lois Fisher donated their conservation easement to Washington Farmland Trust in December of 2010. Today, Lois Fisher raises Colonial Heritage breeds, which are traditional livestock raised by farmers before the drastic reduction of breed variety caused by the rise of industrial agriculture. Colonial breeds have historical significance, strong genetic traits, and tend to be very hardy.

Property Description:

Camelot Downs Farm’s 15 acres are made up of 9 acres of pasture, and 6 acres of forestland. The farm is certified Salmon Safe.
