Corporate support offers an alternative to traditional advertising – one that allows businesses to evidence their commitment to social responsibility and partner with a values-aligned organization to promote a healthy environment, thriving rural economies, and the production of locally-grown food. Learn how to get involved below.

Event Sponsorship

Corporate support of our events is an essential part of how we deliver on our promise to offer meaningful, engaging experiences to our community.

Support Love the Land

For the last four years, we have hosted Love the Land, a fundraising event featuring local music, words from our leadership, stories from farmers, and more. We have hosted renowned musical acts from Dave Matthews and True Loves to Colin Meloy of The Decemberists. Hundreds of guests turn out for this event each year, which is typically hosted on a farm or another beautiful outdoor space in the Seattle area in the fall. You can watch the recording of the 2023 event here.

Occasionally, we also offer sponsorship opportunities for our other annual events. See something you’d be excited to partner on? Let’s talk.

Program Underwriting

Program underwriting offers an opportunity for our corporate partners to directly support the programs of Washington Farmland Trust while gaining exposure to our community of farmers and supporters. From supporting program implementation or helping deliver our events to the community, to funding micro grants that support farmers with sustainable land management, underwriting allows local businesses to directly connect with work on the ground that helps Washington farms and farmers thrive.

Farmland Conservation
Our conservation program aims to remove development potential from farmland to protect natural resources and make land more affordable for future farmers.

Farmland Stewardship
Our stewardship program helps farmers steward protected land, ensuring it stays healthy and resilient into the future.

Farm to Farmer
Our Farm to Farmer program helps farmers find land, build capacity, access resources, and ultimately, thrive as business owners and land stewards.

Community Engagement
Our community engagement program centers the voices of our community in our day-to-day work by offering volunteer opportunities, educational content, and events.

Support of each of our programs is unique and can be tailored based on program needs and donor priorities.

Employee Engagement & Volunteering

We invite staff from local companies to participate in our volunteer activities, either individually or as a part of a group. Each year we offer in-person and virtual engagement opportunities that connect our community to the topics of farmland conservation and care, supporting local farms and farmers, and food access and sovereignty.

Additionally, we are always looking to better represent the communities we aim to serve through our board and board committees.

In-Kind Support

From event photography and donated snacks and tools for our volunteer-led restoration work parties, to gifts in the form of products, services, and event space, in-kind services take our programs and events to the next level.

Sustaining Partnerships

From our founder to our long-time partners, these corporations have helped sustain our organization with their lifetime support.
