Washington Farmland Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust. Donations are 100% tax-deductible, and we rely primarily on individuals to fund our farmland conservation efforts. In addition to making a gift online, see below for other ways to support our work as an individual donor. Our Federal EIN number/Tax ID is 91-2021165.
“Farming is work of great depth and dignity, and is a beautiful expression of our mutuality with the earth. I feel grateful to have been able to support Washington Farmland Trust’s work to preserve our precious farmland for nearly two decades.”

Planned Giving
A charitable bequest is one of the most meaningful ways to ensure your legacy lives up to your values. In some cases, it may even help you save on estate taxes. Protecting farmland and creating land access for farmers is our mission and responsibility — but it is your support that ensures our precious lands are cared for, forever.
Workplace Giving & Matching
Washington Farmland Trust participates in many workplace giving programs, including The Boeing Company Employee Giving Program, City of Seattle Combined Charities, King County Employee Giving Program, Microsoft Employee Giving Program, and Washington State Combined Fund Drive.
Does your company have a workplace giving program? To pledge a payroll gift to Washington Farmland Trust, find our name and charity ID in your employer’s charitable giving catalog and submit your pledge form to your workplace giving coordinator. Please note that donor information shared with our organization varies by workplace, so ask your employer what gift information will be provided to the recipient organization.
Many of our region’s largest employers participate in matching gift programs for the nonprofits their employees support.
Securities & Stocks
Washington Farmland Trust gratefully accepts and encourages gifts of stock. A tax-deductible gift of appreciated stock may help you give more – and will help Washington Farmland Trust have a greater impact on local farms. To review the details you will need to make a stock gift, please fill out the form below.
Give from your IRA
